Jon Sasser, MSOM, L.Ac.

Jon Sasser, MSOM, L.Ac.

Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist

Jon’s greatest joy is learning about the human body and ways to unlock the human potential. While studying Sports Medicine at Colorado State, he discovered Chinese Medicine. Struggling with depression, anxiety and a type of autoimmune arthritis rare for his age ignited a curiosity for practices like meditation and yoga while reminding him of the importance of movement and nutrition. Jon takes a multifaceted approach to treatment that is informed by studies in western sciences, eastern medicine, and his own personal wellness journey. He enjoys working with all populations and has clinical experience in both a geriatric specialty clinic and CU Boulder’s Dal Ward Athletics Facility. However, as an athlete and practitioner, Jon is most at home helping his fellow athletic community reach its potential by enhancing recovery, optimizing lifestyle, and balancing internal conditions to maximize the results from training.

Jon loves being outside in general and has used his background in Sports Medicine to coach himself and others through a diverse athletic background including rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking, triathlons, crossfit, yoga, obstacle racing and martial arts. In recent years he has discovered his innate desire to teach and share this knowledge to help bring his community to a greater state of well-being. Look for him in the gym to ask a question or book a treatment and see how he can help!
